An Introduction to Amazon’s Web Services
As an XL, T3.2 is considered to be quite large.
Specifications for the Required Hardware
- Processor speed of at least 2 GHz on a quad-core Intel Xeon
- Maximum of 16GB RAM
- For a large-scale installation, you’ll need at least 4 GB of disc space. 150 GB of free space on the hard drive can be used to store data. As data grows, so does the need for hard drive space.
- The New Technology File System
- It is suggested to use an SSL hardware accelerator.
Note:
Whether components like CQ and FMG are deployed locally with Adobe Connect, or on separate servers, affects the amount of HDD space and RAM required. Adobe Connect System Requirements (Software And Hardware) 2022
Preference for shared storage
- Specifications for hard drives: 10,000-15,000 RPM, preferably over Fibre Channel
- TCP/IP connection with 1Gbps or greater input/output bandwidth
- Active/Active multi-path controllers

Virtual worlds
Release 5.x of VMware ESXi
Specifications for the Required Hardware
- Processor speed of at least 2 GHz on a quad-core Intel Xeon
- At least 8 gigabytes of random access memory
- 10 GB of available hard drive space for an enterprise installation and log storage
- The New Technology File System
- Needs in a Network
- Fast Ethernet, 100 Megabits per second (1 Gbps recommended)
Necessary Port Features
In listening mode, ACTS exposes the following tunable ports; to prevent unauthorised access, these ports must be blocked.
When using ACTS, the default admin port is 8080.
- This port should never be made public and is reserved for internal Adobe Connect administration and health checks.
- Port 9002 is set as the default for ACTS web services.
- Because of its importance in handling WebSocket requests, the load balancer must make this port public.
- The load balancer handles all the HTTPS (wss) traffic and SSL offloading, while ACTS receives the offloaded data
- Live meeting data transfer from ACTS to CPS server uses port 1935 (RTMP), 80 (or another HTTP port), and 443 (if SSL is enabled).
Adobe Connect Edge server requirements (Adobe Media Gateway-based Universal Voice)
System software that is compatible
Server 2008 (64-bit), Release Candidate 2 for Microsoft Windows (64-bit)
Specifications for the Required Hardware
- Dual-core Intel Xeon CPU running at 2 GHz (3 GHz quad-core Intel Xeon recommended)
- Four gigabytes of random-access memory
- Hard disc space requirements: 2 GB for installation, 10 GB for regular use
- The New Technology File System
Needs in a Network
- High-Speed Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) — 100 Mbps (1 Gbps recommended)
- TCP Port 5060
- The number of available ports increases by two for each additional simultaneous Universal Voice conference. There is a range configuration option for these ports; for instance, 500 meetings can be held using Universal Voice on a port range of 5000–6000.
- Fast Ethernet, 100 Megabits per second (1 Gbps recommended)
Note:
You’ll need to set up Adobe Media Gateway if you want to use Universal Voice. Set up AMG such that calls go through a SIP-compliant endpoint that can forward them to your selected audio conferencing provider.
Note: The application server and Adobe Media Gateway installation process can occur on the same computer. Adobe suggests setting up AMG on a dedicated machine.
